The Dutch death metal band Sinister, will release tomorrow their 14th studio album named "Deformation of the Holy Realm", via Massacre Records. The track "Apostles of the Weak" was the first single which came out last month.
Based in Schiedam (South Holland), Sinister have been around since 1988, and with this new work we can expect the same dose of brutality the band has been providing over the years.

(Just a small note for our non-Portuguese readers, since the band is Portuguese and I'm also Portuguese, it wouldn't made sense to conduct this interview in English, therefore I made this exception of the blog's main language, we apologize dear friends).
The Belgium based death metal band Aborted, will release a new EP tomorrow: "La Grande Mascarade", and so far only this track has surfaced: "Gloom and the Art of Tribulation".
As it's possible to tell from it, the 3-track EP will have the usual gore and violent content both in its lyrics and imagery, as it is already a trademark of the band.
Aborted were founded in the year of 1995, and so far their discography is made mainly of 6 EP's and 10 full-length albums.
The 9th full-length album, "Obscene Repressed" by extreme metal band Benighted, is out now and the guys from Balbigny, France, deliver us once again an agressive and fast pacing brutal death metal sound, with grindcore elements here and there. A clear example of this you can listen in the track bellow: "The Starving Beast".
Unfortunately, just a few days before the album release today, the band's vocalist Julien Truchan was tested positive for the Covid-19, which he contracted during his volunteer work in a Covid medical department. Thus we wish him a speedy recovery and all the best.

The Turkish brutal death metal band Decaying Purity released recently their new full-length album: "Mass Extinction of the Providential Ones".
They have been around since 2005, and have produced so far four studio albums and one demo, their first material launched in 2006.

Tonight, the folks from MetalMad will present another heavy music event in Funchal, Madeira island, the Heresy Meeting II, with two acts performing at DTOX bar once again, the locals Heaven Can Wait, and coming over from capital Lisbon, Cronaxia.
Just like Heresy Meeting I back in November 2018, Heaven Can Wait will be in charge of warming up the crowd on this second edition, but the Madeirian death metal band had some line-up changes since then. So far their discography is made of a demo: "Heaven Can Wait", launched in 2013, and an EP released in 2017 entitled "Draw me a Dream", from which the track bellow "Fairy Tale"was taken.
After this it's time for Cronaxia to take the stage, the death metal trio has been around since 1997, but several line-up changes among some personal issues along the way, allowed them to produce only two releases during this time, but as they say it's better less and good, than too many and bad, and indeed Cronaxia presented us in 2018 with a fine full-length album debut: "Collapsing the Outer Structure, which surely will be in great evidence tonight in Funchal. The track bellow, "Embryonic Reanimation", comes precisely from this work.
Ten years before this, the band launched the 3-track EP: "The Solution Above Continuity".
Infraktor is a thrash/death metal project from northern Portugal, founded in the year 2013 by guitarist Carlos Almeida and singer Hugo Silva, that were later joined by the remaining current members Ricardo Martins (guitars), Miguel Pinto (bass) and Francisco Martins (drums).
Their first material, and sole one so far, was released in March 2018 in the shape of a full-length album: "Exhaust", where one can witness the band's harsh extreme metal sound!
Infraktor will be one of the acts to perform at the Portuguese Mangualde Hardmetalfest, taking place next Saturday, and they will be there alongside Praying Mantis, Ancient, Xentrix and others...
